I guess this is weird:
I refuse to use a public restroom if there are no paper towel dispensers. I hate those air hand dryers that much.
If those are present, I initiate my ritual. First, I check to see if there are toilet seat covers. If they are not there, I leave. If they are present, I lay down two layers and cover the door gaps. I specifically bring things to do that. I mean, honestly, ANYONE who has used a public restroom in the United States knows why. I don’t want people seeing me. (For those who have never left the U.S., those grand canyons between the door and the rest of the stall are not normal)
Then, before I sit down, I grab toilet paper. I am quite unreasonably afraid to use a restroom just to find out there’s no paper after I do my thing.
I proceed as is considered normal; do my thing, flush and wash my hands…
I do this every time, whether I have to go badly or not, whether it’s busy or not. I really don’t care.
Ideally, I wouldn’t have to use those facilities at all and just go home.
