TL;DR a recent WMargic the Gammthering story had a character that other writers had been setting up for years to be in a lesbian relationship with another character (and this was deliberate set-up mind you, not shippers seeing things that weren't there) suddenly flat-out declare that she's not into other women, and Weisman was the one who wrote this.
