Look, I am a literal guy and I see what I see literally. That's why I think canon is the only way to see ships.

Because fanfics and fanart were never eligible for television and film. If it were, the Owl House AU would exist with Huntmira being canon and airing on Disney Channel or streaming on Disney+. Or an MLP AU where Hearts and Hooves Day is a Fluttermac episode airing on The Hub or Discovery Family. And then everyone will be happy without resorting to disrespect canon.
