I just watched a Season 8 episode of Arthur after watching a bunch of S1 episodes, one S3 episode, and two S4 episodes.
 
I can definitely tell a difference in writing quality between the earlier episodes and the S8 episode.

There was a Riverdale comic book I got at Free Comic Book Day a year or two ago,and it was actually pretty good. Dark Stories work well in the comics.  
They should make Afterlife with Archie a show. They almost made Punisher meets Archie,but couldn’t clear the rights with Marvel.
