You know, I don’t even like The Lorax or any of Illumination’s films, but it’s been almost ten years and I am still annoyed that “Biggering” was replaced with “How Bad Can I Be.”

Movie would have been served by having both instead of trying to Rush the Onceler’s fall into just one song, kick it off with a how bad can i be part 1 then biggering, then a how bad can i be part 2,

Yeah, I heard about that. Though the 2012 adaptation managed to finish it’s story without being canceled.  
What really pisses me off about Rise’s treatment from Nick is not only was Season 2 cut in half but the staff had to wrap everything up in 4 11-minute episodes in only a few months with no warning beforehand. So that wasn’t cool. The Finale was still awesome and the Crew put a lot of heart and effort into it, but I still can’t help but wonder what could’ve been if the episode count wasn’t cut down.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, in terms of animation, Rise has the best dynamic fight scenes out of the four TMNT cartoons. There’s no contest. It’s scenes like this, this, and especially this one are why fans are looking forward to the Movie and it’s an example of how Western Action Cartoons can have scenes just as good as anime.
 
Anyway, I’m gonna watch the 2012 Show on Hulu since it wasn’t available to me in the past.

What I mean is that in late 2017, we were under the impression that the show had been booted to NickToons to finish its run, as 7 episodes had exclusively premiered there…
 
Only for the final three episodes to air on the main Nickelodeon channel.
 
To my knowledge, this is the only time a Nick series had moved to NickToons, and then back to Nick.

been rewatching mucha lucha recently and i found out that in season 3 Richocet’s voice actor got replaced for that season (Carlos Alazraqui for the first 2 seasons and Jason Marsden for the 3rd season)
 
As much as i like Marsdens voice, it is REALLY jarring listening to him as Rico. The fact that he isn’t even bothering to try and put on a Hispanic accent doesn’t help either X)

TMNT 2012 managed to finish its story arc and THEN just go into a series of self-contained stories. Such as the tMNT plus Renet travelling through time to fight Savanti Romero and his classic movie monster crew (Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, Werewolves).

Can you believe the new Aquaman cartoon by the same guy that did ThunderCats roar, has Aquaman as an ineffectual moron? Oh where have I seen this before?
 
You know; usually when you’re riding a popular underdog movie and trying to keep momentum for the second, it’s a wise idea to not have the main character, the literal draw as a dipshit.
 
I already knew what to expect; Ugly, cheap and stupid humor.

We have enough bizarrely weird reboots they could pluck a character out of each one and make a team of them.

Maybe the art reflects the personality of the artist.

Hanna Barbera’s 80/90 run is interesting to look at in hindsight
 
They were basically either chasing trends or trying to same old and failing at both.
 
They were basically dinosaurs by the time Nickelodeon started the “modern” era in cartoons.

I miss how cartoons used to look, especially 60’s cartoons like Pink Panther, they were very stylish.
