The Rise of the TMNT Movie dropped on Netflix this weekend and I have to say it was worth the wait seeing this particular team of Pizza-loving Ninja again. The art & animation were top notch as always, and there’s an equal amount of drama/comedy/character moments to make this an awesome film. The staff didn’t pull their punches, and the villains lived up to their threat level. The Krang were responsible for creating Shredder, and that iteration is a walking WMD. Unfortunately, for our heroes, these guys are way too strong.

If you’re interested in seeing the film but think you need to watch the series in full, it’s alright. The movie is pretty much stand-alone. All you need to know is that it takes place after Shredder’s defeat and the Turtles have mystic abilities. That’s really it.

So far, the Movie has managed to trend in the Kid’s Top 10 and I hope it still keeps on getting attention. The staff have said if the movie does well enough and the show is revived, they’d like to tackle the Rat King. I hope they get their second chance, if that’s possible.

The other day I was discussing with my friend how adventure Time was mainly a cartoon targeted for kids but for the past few years with digging good into the plot it shows that it can be considered as a show for older audience too, the show has a strong adult fanbase irl but I was wondering why I can’t feel their strong presence in the internet as well

Finished watching all three seasons of Final Space. Why did they had to cancel it? In the middle of a cliffhanger? Come the fuck on, I wanted to see Invictus’ power and if they would’ve killed him. What happened to Ash and Mooncake? Goddammit, why?

If it did get a fourth season, it would’ve been a hell of a turnaround seeing that Bolo died and Mooncake got drained of all his power. My theory is that they needed to have introduced another stronger character to evenly match up against Invictus

TIL that “DC League of Super-Pets” had a Looney Tunes Cartoons short “Sick as a Hare” attached, but apparently it only aired in select theaters (presumably because the plot of Bugs faking being sick to avoid getting cooked by Elmer Fudd was a little too real for the pandemic).

Honestly yeah I agree. A one on one fight with Bolo against the titan-fied Lord Commander would’ve veen badass and he was killed off too soon, which to me lowers the stakes.
