Agreed. MHA is one of those shows where I find the main protagonist and antagonist too unlikable to keep watching, but love practically all the supporting characters, so it’s a shame that I don’t like the series as a whole.

Disney Channel is airing new episodes of Amphibia and Owl House back to back every Saturday.
 
In response, Nickelodeon should air new episodes of Spongebob and Loud House back to back.

I’ve probably said this several times but I’d like Deku more if he stood up for himself more and quit sucking up to Bakugo. Also I wish Bakugo would show more progress of being less of an asshole.
 
I really can’t stand the ‘badass’ asshole that never gets called out by the cast that anime creators and fans seems to love. For instance Vegeta and Kaiba. (It’s why I enjoy watching Vegeta get his ass handed to him)
 
Kaiba , I think the dub overdid it but I think he’s handled better in the sub.

Actually, Bakugo has become less of a jerk throughout the series and has shown growth. It’s seen in the Remedial License arc, he even gives Deku pointers on how to improve fighting style, and in the current “war” arc when he reminds Deku that a hero’s job is to protect everyone. Which is something the old Baku from Season 1 would never say.

Pretty much, LOL. Shows that you can’t always judge a show solely by its animation style.

Agreed. Deku has so much power that was literally handed to him, so he has no reason to still be such a wimp. And it kind of baffles me how much Bakugo gets away with without ever being reprimanded. Even in American high schools, which are notorious for not being able to handle bullies, he would probably get expelled, and rightly so.

Same show that’s giving a redemtion arc to man who abused his wife so badly she had a mental breakdown and burned their son’s face with boiling water because He looked to much like his dad on one side,

And he acknowledges and accepts that. Hell, he’s planning to buy a house for his wife and kids to live in away from him and the house filled with terrible memories.

and that’s fucking amazing writing. it acknowledges he’s bastardness and that he’ll probably never be able get his family to like him but does show his growth as a person.
 
i mean imagine if say i don’t know a show never acknowledge that fact that a charater was an abusive shitter and just gave him a happy ending COUGH COUGH UNSUBTLE COUGH CATRA COUGH

The difference here is one was always an unrepentant monster until it finally caught up with him, the other was an abused orphan caught in a cycle of abuse which drove their actions.
 
Both did monstrous things, but one at least had more of an excuse than “pride”.
