I’d ask why leave them, but it was most likely because he was high and doused from head-to-toe in tiger urine at the time. That can make you forget things.
I am not a fan Usagi’s redesign here. It’s so strange, because there is actually another cgi incarnation to compare him to.
The tufts of fur-hair, the eyes, the “updated” outfit… I’ll have to just wait and see but no matter how it turns out I’ll still prefer the more comic-accurate look.
@Dex Stewart
He looks like when they made Max Steel into … That. In stead of the tough bad ass Ronin he is. If it was just the hair-tuff and outfit, but he look visibly less threatening.
He should be the rabbit equivalent of Samurai Jack.
@northern haste
That’s a new one. I’ve never heard “Doesn’t mention a devastating tragedy that’s largely irrelevant to the events of the film” as criticism for a kids’ cartoon before.
That’s not even his most substantial criticism of it. That’s Ming, and after finding out Ming responded to catching Meilin drawing a private fictionalization of the guy she’s crushing on by putting Mei on the spot to confront the guy & show him the drawing, I dunno if I disagree. Not to mention that watching an isolated clip is a sure fire way to conceal context.
