This isn’t some fake outrage. People have a right to be upset and livid since some of these shows were fan-favorites and/or critically acclaimed. It’s one thing to cancel a show, crap happens in the entertainment unfortunately. It’s another to scrub nearly every trace of a show existing and make it almost impossible to watch without having to resort to piracy. Imagine being a showrunner/creator and having to discover through social media/news article, not from your bosses, that the series you worked hard on for years got scrubbed away in less than a day and your audience can’t even view it. Have some sympathy.

It should be a bigger hit, but you can only do so much with Cable nowadays and then there’s the recent hullabaloo that might cause people to unsubscribe from HBOMax.

It might be a Customer Service Rep trying to do damage control or it could be temporary as they say. It’s assumed that the shows are being written off, but we don’t really know that yet. I think what might happen is some of these shows might be shopped around to other streaming services to air. Final Space got removed from HBOMax some weeks ago before the big purge, and we haven’t gotten any word that the show was been written off for taxes yet.
It really sucks that the communication between company and creators is so bad right now, and the lack of transparency with the company is annoying.
So far, the only good news from this is that Summer Camp Island and Victor and Valentino will still be able to air their remaining episodes on Cartoon Network instead of being locked behind the WB/CN vault.
