What? It’s true,

Operation Anchorage: Completely different feel and solid rewards,

The Pitt: Spooky new atmosphere and a legitimate moral dilemma, And a truly unique new weapon type,

Mothership Zeta: Again a very different feel a whole host of sweet new weapons and armor,

Dude, Point Lookout was one of the best ones (next to The Pitt). Gave you a brand new environment to explore and had a pretty good questline. Even involved the Dunwich Building. The only gripe is the cheapass shotting Swamp people.

And you can’t tell me that whole drug trip sequence wasn’t awesome.

Anchorage looking back gave you some way too OP shit. Felt more like a Monty Haul. And Zeta was corridor after corridor of the same aliens. Least you got a snazzy alien disintegrator out of it.

Pitt and Point Lookout are the best ones from FO3. NV DLCs still beat them for the most part.

My rebuttal:

Operation Anchorage: Turned an RPG into a crappy military shooter with a brainless excuse plot that punished you for putting points in anything but small guns and gave loot that completely broke the game.

The Pitt: Slogs down what could have been an interesting Gray Versus Gray moral situation (which was handled sloppily) with a tedious scrounging adventure, and railroads the player into become a slave is a completely stupid manner.

Mothership Zeta: Turned an RPG into a crappy science fiction shooter (though the story was a bit better, as I did enjoy the companion characters) that punished you for putting points in anything except energy weapons and gave you loot that completely broke the game.

I fucking loved the difficulty spike, made the whole DLC have this unnerving, scary sort of feel + the environment helped a great deal with this. Kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time.

I genuinely jumped out of my seat when I fell for a mine trap trying to grab something from a trolley.

Plus, the guns and melee just feel fucking awesome.

You’re talking as if Point Lookout was fucking impossible.

Grow some balls, get some gear and pop those drugs wimp, you’re way too accustomed to good ol’ easy vanilla FO3
