A war machine created to fulfill a revenge, is singing a song to its young pilot to break away from the cycle of violence and choose her own path and enjoy life to its fullest, but no matter what path the pilot choose, the machine will fight with her.

Add the theory that the Gundam is only sentient due to it actually being the pilot’s older sister, the song suddenly hits different.

Pop Team Epic just did the entire last episode in nothing but notebook. And it was fan-fucking-tastic.

It’s a good anime from what I remember of it.

Purin reminds me of Catra from She-Ra: Princesses of Power. She’s always putting the blame on her friend for why things are the way they are when in reality, a lot of the problems could’ve been resolved if she wasn’t so stubborn. You could even go so far as to say that Serufu and the rest of her friends trying to convince Purin to join DIY is like Adora trying to convince Catra to leave her current life and join The Rebellion.
