@Zennistrad
You’re trying to make it about “help she’s being oppressed” when it’s about “she broke the law”.
Alright, sure. But can I just say that I don’t think that it’s at all justified to harass her over her Twitter for it? I mean, we like to rail against the “two wrongs don’t make a right” style of social justice here all the time, but when the very same thing is happening here everyone seems to think that it’s no big deal.
Like, sure, she broke the law by filing a false DMCA claim. She claimed Wizardchan harassed her when there’s little evidence to suggest that they actually did anything of the sort. These are all bad things, and I’m not going to deny that she was at all without wrongdoing.
But at the same time, I see no reason why I should remains silent on the people who are harassing her, because I cannot imagine any circumstance where that would be morally justified. You can call me a “white knight” all you want, but in the end I fail to see how that would accomplish anything. It’s not only wrong, it’s also entirely counterproductive since it would only give people even more reason to see her as the victim and not the aggressor.

RE: Phil Fish, I’ve never really been interested in him or his games, but after the whole Fez II fiasco I can’t really say that I’m surprised. He does seem very emotionally unstable and I wouldn’t put it past him to pull a stunt like this.
