I mean it is an Nintendo IP and has 4 games under its belt

Piranha Plant’s gonna be free DLC until the end of January. Hopefully, the next DLC character is revealed before then, so I can not only be excited enough again to buy the game, but also not have to spend that extra money.

If we’re not getting Isaac, and there is a new Golden Sun on the horizon, the protagonist of that game had better get in. Oh, who am I kidding, at this point it’s clear Sakurai hates GS..

I’ll probably stick with the ones at the top.  
Though I love learning every character.

If you tap an amiibo that isn’t compatible with the game, you’ll still get in-game rewards. Yes, even Waluigi.

There were quite a few characters that were killed off-screen, and like Sakurai suggested, people are using their imaginations to fill in the blanks with fanart. Some of it’s actually getting to me, with art of characters holding their loved ones in their final moments  
 
 
 
There’s more out there, and I’m glad I haven’t seen any with Isabelle because I don’t think my heart could take it.

The second image is hilarious, and would make more sense if Spongebob were Kirby

So Pichu’s alts have been recorded Pichu gets back it’s blue Goggles and has Team Aqua Bandana and Team Skull Goggles and one of Pichu’s Alts is “Spiky-eared” Pichu which fun-fact, is always Female so now Trainer, Pikachu and Pichu all have Female Alt-skins
 
I just thought that was kinda neat :P

By that “logic,” Sakurai must also hate “Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars,” Shadow the Hedgehog, Banjo Kazooie, and literally everything else not in, or sort’ve in the game…
 
No offense, but I really dislike it when people accuse creators of hating stuff. Like the crazed Sonic SatA.M. fans who constantly accuse writer Ian Flynn of hating the Sonic SatA.M. cartoon/comic characters despite the fact he used them alot during his run on the official Archie Sonic comics before their cancellation. (In fact, anti-SatA.M. fans used to hate on him for that, or accuse him of hating the game characters… Can’t win no matter what.)
