In my stories, the main character worships the Slavic gods of her country, but she also prays to Hindu deities as her ancestral gods.

The context is that her people were Hindus, but they are fine with also praying to Slavic deities because their ancestors were influenced by their Slavic neighbours and their culture.

Would it be offensive as "cultural appropriation"? To some extent, it reminds me of us Chinese people praying to Indian deities through Buddhism, like Indra as the Jade Emperor.
