The Sonic Frontiers gameplay teaser came out today

I know I’m not the biggest Sonic fan in fact I never even seriously played any Sonic game.

But the Sonic Frontiers footage compared to say Unleashed day stages looks rough.

Yeah, I’ve heard a couple of people refer to it as looking like a tech demo.

I just realised why the movie has not received a home release in the uk yet.
Paramount plus Launches this month in the country so they probably think it could make people go to that quicker

I love that Sonic gets his own personal SEGA direct, and I’m looking forward to all the goodies coming out.
I’m so excited for Sonic Origins, and it’s great that they are bringing back the art gallery again.
I don’t play Roblox, but the Sonic Speed Simulator looks cool.
Looking forward to the new Forces app characters, apparently Super Shadow and Mephiles are coming.
Can’t wait for Prime, the clip they showed is cool but man am I in suspense waiting to see it.
Frontiers is looking more and more epic so can’t wait for more of that, and the preview with Knuckles in it gets me all the more pumped for it now.

Imagine a Smash Bros Cinematic Universe where Sonic, Mario and Link would team up. Link would save Pruncess Peach and Bowser and Eggman would have an alliance

As I’m sure most of you know by now Sonic Origins will be replacing the music tracks that were allegedly composed by Michael Jackson with that of the prototype tracks for
Carnival Night Zone, Ice Cap Zone, and Launch Base Zone.
The prototypes were never used for the Genesis ports but found their way onto the PC version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but not to long ago the original Genesis tracks were found and restored for everyone to hear.
With the announcement of Sonic Origins and the replaced tracks I was all fired up to hear them in action, The Sonic Stadium released the tracks and it turns out they remade them for the game which I suppose isn’t bad if it meant they were just tweaking the prototypes a bit… sadly what they did was just remake the entire tracks from scratch using not the prototypes as templates but the PC versions of those tracks instead and as a result they all sound awful in comparison.

And the sad thing about all this is that it didn’t even need to happen, the prototypes were found well before Sonic Origins was even in production so they easily could have just taken the prototype tracks and just port them to the game, or if they were gonna remix them then how about getting someone who actually knows what they are doing with the music then like Bouncy Glow’s Music Room who has done AWESOME remixes of all these tracks.

I just listened to the tracks used in Origins and while I tend to defend Sonic a lot, oof those tracks sounded rough. Maybe the tracks can be readjusted to sound a bit like Bouncy Glow’s versions if there is enough demand and if Sega is willing to do so. As for getting the original tracks back, that ain’t an option not counting mods. They had to be scarified for Sonic 3 and Knuckles to truly come back. If nobody likes it, blame Michael Jackson’s production team and their legal demands.

Maybe it’s just me, but I swear, it feels like the momentum in Sonic 1 got messed up in Origins.

I keep finding instances where I have a harder time slowing down and controlling where I land compared to both the original AND the mobile versions. And I JUST replayed the original earlier this year.
