What got me back into Star Wars was a fan edit of Revenge of the Sith with Clone Wars stuff added in. It made me check out Clone Wars, and then the sequel trilogy, then Mandalorian, then Bad Batch.
Even the weak stuff like Savage Oppress and the Rebels episodes of Bad Batch got me more interested than the recent films.

Book of Boba Fett was pretty good.
I especially liked the Harryhausen-esque creature at the end.
Not sure why critics didn’t like this. Kark them. What do they know.

Everyone who said nothing happened in the first episode of Book of Boba Fett needs to STFU! Cause episode 2 is here and shit definitely happens! So don’t try that here fuckers cuz you’re just showin’ what a dumbass you are!

I really wanted him and Weequay becoming friends and escaping the Sarlacc together to be canon from Robot Chicken.
That’s my only disappointment.

I liked the second episode of Book of Boba. The only weird thing was the Hutts looking very cgi,kinda jarring among all the practical effects.

I didn’t mind them making the Lannister(?) Hutts CGI.
I was just happy to see Hutts in live action again.

I keep seeing Book of Boba Fett reviews popping up in my recommended. The second episode gets a backhanded positive review. It seems some people really want to dislike it.
Is it the slower pace? The overall tone? The fact that it’s a kinda sorta villain in the lead role?

My cynical/snarky theory is that it’s because it’s a Disney creation, so it has to be bad on some level, no matter how much of a nitpick it is.

That’s a part of it I’m sure there are many who just can’t get over anything Disney especially those who have made a living on raging on it.
Ironically the other part is likely those that are angry at fans rejection of the Sequel Trilogy so know they bash on the things those people like.
And then there’s the rest of us in the middle stuck between them.

It’s weird I am not more into the Boba Fett show but it lacks that special sauce that made the Mandalorian so interesting. (Grogu?) So far the premise and the setup dont pull me in. I hope that will change, Mando was a little slow for the first few episodes as well. Every ingredient for a good show is here, now it just has to come together.
