Well I finished the Dark Empire Trilogy.
It’s messy and rushed in places and probably would have been better as novel where things could have had a chance to breathe and develop things would have improved.
Also the Galaxy Gun is a better super weapon than Starkiller.

It’s also funny to listen to The Hand of Thrawn Duology audiobooks as a part of it is to criticize “God Mode” Skywalker especially also having just listened to the part where Mara Jade points out that the problem of that all started with Dark Empire.

I haven’t read those since middle school. I’ve gotta find new copies. Most of my old Star Wars books seem to have disappeared.

I need to dig my Atlas I’m pretty sure I bought that and the Chronology but I never really looked at them because I believe I bought them just before the Disney acquisition so they ended up becoming kinda pointless after I bought them.
Definitely know I have The Essential Guide to Warfare that one is amazing.

Though if that’s true I feel weird finding Armorer hot.

So.
I thought lightsabers are notoriously hard to handle precisely because they have no weight on their blades?
But why Mando and Big Mando swing the Darksaber like they’re carrying Guts’s Dragonslayer? (Berserk reference).

Do the weight of destiny actually converts to physical weight? Is it a Thor’s Mjolnir kinna thing?

Also Armorer wth, you said “beskar for armor only” and yet you swing around beskar blunt instruments at ya own fam?

I guess spears and swords cant be beskar but smithing hammers, pliers and tongs can be beskar.

Lightsabers also have weight, it’s just that the only reason Jedi and Sith have an advantage is because they can use the Force to control them better.

That in itself dont really explain anything.

But watching the video Imma accept the explanation that the reason wielders find it heavy, it’s because of a similar feeling to how you’re holding a water hose that’s pumping out high water current.

There’s always something pushing or pulling one way or another, so if you’re not the one directing the current, you’re fighting against it, thus it feels heavy.

Mando: how do you wield this thing? goddamn it burned my leg!

Finn: looks like a sword, handles like a sword, cuts like a sword. yeah, easy.

Finn can take on Mando 1v1 probably.

The Boba Fett show ain’t doing it for me

According the Eck’s latest video, this ep was starting to expand a bit too much, to the decrement of the show.

It’s weird because there is neat stuff here but it’s called the Book of Boba Fett and there’s been very little Boba in this Book recently.

That was his point. It would be great for The Mandalorian season 3, but feels out-of-place and unfocused for Book of Boba Fett. This becomes worst since according to him, next ep is the season final, and unless it’s an hour long, it won’t be able to tackle all the plots and subplots into it very well.

I know I watch the show myself and am in fact watching that video now on said episode right now.

I haven’t watched the latest episode yet, but so far I’ve really enjoyed BoBF. My only issue is Boba as a character has been pretty forcefully pushed into being a semi-good guy.
If I were to ignore all the expanded universe stuff, I don’t think I’d see thus as too bug a departure from his appearance on Mandalorian. He’s a cruel deceiver in his initial appearance in the animated segment of the Holiday Special. In Empire he’s just another mercenary, the one who happens to succeed in capturing Han Solo and the others. In RotJ, he’s working for Jabba, though he seems distant and not loyal to him. In Attack of the Clones, he’s shown to be the son of a dangerous man. Jango, his father, while determined and ruthless, does not fit cleanly into being good or bad. In the Clone Wars series Boba appears as a vengeful and resourceful young man. Focused on his goals, and determined to fulfil them.
In BoBF, he’s revealed to have survived the Sarlacc he was thrown into, robbed and tortured afterwards. I Don’t think it’s too big of a stretch for his personality to swing in a lighter direction. He’s probably learned to appreciate life after being so filled with hate for so long.

I was agreeing with you base on the information I have.

It’s like something happened to the production of the Boba Fett show so they padded it out with Mandalorian stuff. The strange part is how much better the Mandalorian episodes are written and produced over the Boba Fett episodes.

And this one was crammed to the brim with a lot of epic characters meeting each other.

It’s now The Mandalorian season 2.5 - setup to season 3.

Tbh, the more mando the better, this new Boba Fett is weird…
