Well that’s up to an individual’s suspension of disbelief ultimately I’m not too bothered by it exactly.  
That a dagger lead the heroes there is a bit more of a problem if it had lead to say the Emperor’s Palace on Coruscant or to Korriban or anything but it had to DS2 wreckage we had to go back to where it all “ended” last time.
