Same. I got alot of teasing and many assurances that I would have a physically hard time in high school, but those terrible times never came.

God, I wish I was like that when I was in school. I’m a lot less tolerant of other people’s shit nowadays (much like how my sister is actually), but I was nice to a fault back then.

It also doesn’t help that my high school had this utterly ass-backwards policy where you weren’t allowed to fight back against a bully unless they punched you at least 3-5 times. So yeah, f##k that shit.

Same with the former.

I’d just eat the punishment early on until I had built enough of a reputation that I didn’t really need to fight much anymore.

I had to do community service a few times because of fights.

I was always careful to maintain a balance though. Never started fights, never bullied, acted politely to teachers, kept my grades up, and participated on school events. Gave me a cushion of sorts to prevent the hammer coming down too hard.

Though I wasn’t always on my best behavior. Clashed with the school on dress code. Got caught by a janitor while getting a blow job in the bathroom. Stole the clock off the health class wall and put it on the roof. Inverted all the desktop screens in one of the computer labs. Wired my friends chair into a powersocket so it zapped him when he sat on it. Beaned a dumb chick in the head with a pen when she wouldn’t shut up in civics class. And probably some other shit I’m forgetting.

Good times.

Only ones that could beat me up were large obese bullies, one standing at about seven feet tall.

They were fair game when I got older.

That’s not to say I never got in trouble during school, but when I did, it was either due to getting overly emotional, or it was for extremely minor stuff. I got written up once for piddling with my jacket during a lecture (despite the fact that I was still paying attention to it), and another time for accidentally farting during class.

I was a “special needs” kid, so the bullies likely say me as dangerous prey.

I think most of my classmates were too scared of me to give me any trouble. I was the dark and quiet loner brooding in the back of the room and I had a reputation for being skilled with throwing knives. That wasn’t actually true, but it suited me to let them believe it.

On the low I was a Mortal Kombat and Power Rangers enthusiast.

EDIT: Actually, that wasn’t entirely accurate on my part. I still got in trouble at times.

I guess I can’t claim to understand bullies, but I would think that would make you easy rather than dangerous.

They had special programs for us, and would likely name and shame anyone who bullies us to set an example.

From another guy too. I also jacked off a boyfriend of mine in the backseat of his parents car on a long ride home without them noticing.

I have not lived a boring life.

Same, in grades 7 and 8. In grade 8, a kid was behind me with his arm around my neck, so I bit him. Then in 9, my shoulders came in, and I killed it in some comedy sketches my Drama class put on. People left me alone after that.

I sometimes wonder if ominously singing or humming “Pumped Up Kicks” does anything.

I carry a jade stone in my left pocket for spiritual protection. I carry pepper spray on the right for physical protection.

I like to be prepared, so I carry pliers, a Swiss Army knife, and a large folding knife.

I carry my fist.

Hope I never need to use it.
