Yup, your eyes aren’t decieving you. The thing looks like a fucking weaboo bible. Not only is it uncomfortable to read, but the bastard barely holds itself together while doing so. And that’s even with the pages being as thin as a tissue.

I used to think Viz was smoking something when they put this out, but IT ACTUALLY EXISTS IN JAPAN AS WELL.

Well, Ocarina of Time’s adaptation was only 2 volumes, which is a MUCH more reasonable omnibus length than fucking 12.

It’s also oversized as well, which gives it a more premium feel to it (it even has a hardcover version, although that one’s exclusive to a box set).

By a mile. Any idea why? All the LoZ mangas are done by the same guy as far as I can tell, so the sudden change is very odd.

From what I’ve heard, the previous manga series were basic adaptations of the games, while Twilight Princess actually expanded heavily upon the original material. It’s definitely something I plan to look into in the future after I’ve finished collecting higher-priority series (cough cough Dr. Stone).
