They already are: two separate studies from 2018, made by the American Political Science Association and the Siena College, have respectively ranked him at 44th and 42nd place (above James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson).
The ones in the years following his presidency will probably be more significant, but I doubt he ever leaves the fourth quartile (unless his fifteen or so next successors are even worse somehow).
