In more "Am I being Punked?" news, Senator Southern Belle is now saying that there's an invasion poring through the (wait for it) Mexican border of...[Brazilian fashionistas.](https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/576669-graham-says-brazilian-immigrants-arriving-at-border-wearing-designer-clothes)

> Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday that Brazilian immigrants are arriving at the U.S.'s southern border "wearing designer clothes and Gucci bags."

> "We had 40,000 Brazilians come through the Yuma Sector alone headed for Connecticut wearing designer clothes and Gucci bags," he added. "This is not economic migration anymore."

I mean, Weird Flex But Okay for them Brazilian fashionistas. They can afford Gucci brand just fine but decide to walk 3 thousand miles to cross the border instead of buying a plane ticket. And must've rested at some pretty nice hotels all along the way if they still are dressed extravagantly by the time they get here.

But dunking aside, uh, I thought the usual dogwhistle with immigration was that we didn't want poor people? Are we now turning away the affluent and self-sufficient too?

Like, I dunno Scoob, but this sounds like Miss Lindsay just doesn't want immigrants.
