"Educational" systems don't actually educate but instill unquestionable loyalty of a country to unwitting masses. Why else do you think America forces students to pledge allegiance to what is essentially a hate symbol to countries that suffered under US-backed autocracies?
And this is true for any country, democracy or autocracy, that indoctrinates people to be proud of their heritage, even if said heritage was built off slavery, racism and class warfare, no matter what.
