An Arab party is Israel was [barred from the ballot](https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/elections/2022-09-29/ty-article/.premium/defecting-mk-barred-from-likud-run-arab-parties-to-survive-disqualification-bid/00000183-8879-d06a-a3e7-b8fb54d30000) in the upcoming Israeli elections because said party (rightly) rejected the concept of Israel as a democratic state.
