Hate to break it to you, but that’s been feminism from day one.
1st wave feminist didn’t want black men to have the right to vote before them, even though, back then lower-class men were given the right to vote because they obligated to be drafted. So they earned the vote without the stipulation.
Then you have groups forming shelters and removing young boys onto the street because they have the “potential” to harass the women there, and when a fellow feminist (E.I. Erin Pizzey) tried to open a shelter for them, she was accused by other feminists.
Of course there’s also the case when a non-feminists tries to do anything in the name in equality of the sexes they become belligerent and will harass them into an early grave (Earl Silverman)
The reason many go against feminism today is because the actions of feminists throughout the years, the “3rd wave” might be the biggest target, because they essentially forego being discrete and display their bigotry proudly and other proclaimed feminists just cover their ears, look the other way.
It reminds me of the catholic church, honestly.
