It is part of the progressive do gooder soup. People are willing to sacrifice some for their own in a pandemic but how far this extends remains to be seen. If they go too far with this they will give rise to more Trumps in the West. Marxism is nowhere near as pervasive or popular make it out to be, and while it is influential, it’s only the applicable parts that have remained influential…and said applicable parts aren’t popular with the progressive crowd, because the idea that poor whites and poor minorities have more in common than in opposition is antithetical to their “poor whites have it much better than the richest blacks” progressive stack BS.
 
Also, Foucault, Derrida, and Sartre are niche even in academia, and are even less influential than Marx than alt-lite shitheels seem to think.

I am VERY concerned about the Wisconsin case because the Wisconsin Supreme Court is notorious for being extreme.

Huh. It is interesting for sure. Capitalism doesn’t have to come to an end but taking care of the environment is of course necessary. But it seems like westerners have to foot the bill then. If they don’t solve the overpopulation crisis in these areas none of it will matter though.

Thing is, there is an african demographic bomb coming. The environment cannot sustain all those people. They are in several places about to cause environmental collapses. Then people move and collapse another place. The world needs fewer people, especially some parts of it, however strange that may sound.

It’s the current consumerist way of life that the environment cannot sustain, and most people in Africa don’t even have access to it. The ecological footprint of mankind is such that it’d need two planets to be sustainable, five if everyone had the same lifestyle as the US. Putting the blame on the shoulders of less developed regions of the world is unfair and won’t solve the issue.
