Yep, it’s a hyperbolic reaction to the modern phenomena of self-declared anarchists who assert that society should be torn down and capitalism erased - the caricature being that many of them do it while sipping lattes and messaging people on their phone, these being signs of modern capitalism.

That’s hyperbole: there is nothing wrong with using existing tools to call for social reforms regardless of what reforms those would be. It is also hyperbole to assert that all the anti-capitalists are arguing for is “improving society somewhat”. This amounts to “min-maxing”: trying to minimize the harm of one’s own position while exaggerating the harm of the opposition’s position.

Both sets of memes are about demonizing, not addressing any actual points. That’s been going on a LOT over the last dozen pages or so, with and without memes being involved.

You are factually incorrect, and inserting your pre-existing biases in exchange for the factual content relative to a given debate has no more value than the guy who argued that the Moon Landing astronauts ‘had helium in their backpacks, that’s why they were bouncing around on set’.

Anyone can make up anything about anyone. Me, I’m simply opposed to anyone arguing that kids six and under must be taught where people can and do stick their penises, or telling them to ask their parents about ejaculation. Both of which are currently being defended by various teachers and even school boards as proper classroom instruction.

And no one here is saying to tell kids what sex is, just that guys can like guys, gals can like gals, and some both. And care to provide evidence that what you described is what being taught and not what I described? For all I know, republicans are freaking out that Mrs. Frizzy is showing picks of her and her wife in Paris and are claiming she is showing them gay porn in class (though I’m certain they would call showing them straight porn “helping to ensure America’s future”).

Labeling all LGBTQ people as pedos is dumb and distorts the word since pedos can be LGBTQ but that doesn’t mean that all are and I know about anti gay PSAs; I’ve seen them before.
