Apparently the writer of The Boys comics was just very petty at DC and wanted to make their characters look as bad as possible. And seeing as Nazi Germany was a fascist group, it’s not surprising that the satire of a satire of Nazi’s “master race” ideology is a fascist who bones Nazis.

Homelander isn’t a fascist, he doesn’t really have any political ideals. Mostly he just cares about people adoring him, and getting his way at all times no matter the lies, violence, and the cost… to others.

The latest in the escalating anti-LGBTQ wave:
A transgender man in Ohio, Noah Ruiz, entered the women’s restroom at the Preble County campground with his girlfriend after being told to do so by the campground’s owner. The cis woman in one of the stalls flipped her shit, even after Ruiz clarified he was told to use this restroom due to his having female parts.
As he left the bathroom, three men accosted and beat him. His girlfriend alleged they called him homophobic slurs during the assault. When the police arrived, a large crowd had gathered. Ruiz was angry and shouting, according to his mother, because nobody would listen to or accept his explanations. Police promptly arrested Ruiz for disorderly conduct.

I doubt it had to do becuase Garth was petty at DC considering he’s actually worked for DC and Marvel before. He just open admits that he really fucking hates superheroes (Except for Superman, he admitted that Superman is the only Superhero he actually likes/respects)

Wasn’t Superman’s creation run in the ‘40s related to the KKK?
It wasn’t created because of or related in any way to the KKK, but the radio show did have a series that was devoted to exposing the truth about the KKK in the 40’s, and it’s still doing that today.
In the 1940s radio serial Adventures of Superman, Superman exposed the klan’s codewords, rituals, and bigotry, drawing heavily on the research of activist Stetson Kennedy. I think it first ran in the summer of 46.
The radio program has been credited with drastically decreasing the membership of the KKK, causing a fall in membership that it has never really recovered from.
The radio serial did real damage to the KKK, exposing it before a national audience.
The story was rebooted in 2019 in Superman Smashes the Klan.
Superman wasn’t about the KKK, but Superman has always stood against the KKK.

Didn’t Homelander boy fans get mad over Season 3 showing he’s a real dickhead?
Edit: It did.
The Boys subreddit is chaos right now. Threads getting locked, users rage-deleting whole accounts. It’s amazing. Right-wing users are whining about “no politics,” but it’s impossible to talk about the show without them now. Fans who thought Homelander was cool are in a meltdown.
People are asking how Redditors could sympathize with Homelander (or Darth Vader or whatever) when the character is so clearly the bad guy. They know he’s the bad guy. They want the bad guy to be revealed to just be misunderstood and then redeemed so they don’t get uncomfortable.
The users whining about season 3 of The Boys want Butcher and Homelander to high-five, agree to disagree, and then go fight the Real Bad Guy. They want a tragic Homelander’s backstory so they don’t have to reflect on why they were so drawn to the character in the first place.
