Recent news of a school shooting in Russia which killed 17 people. I guess it’s fair to say that the USA has influenced Russia through its most world-renowned pastime, much like Russia has influenced the USA through fascism and spreading misinformation.

The redistricting for VA has finalized.
Despite ending up in the right leaning VA Supreme Court, the final districts give Dems a majority 5 soild blue districts, and one blue leaning district to Republicans 4 soild red.

On the topic of the recent school shooting…
I’ve noticed a trend (mainly from right wing people) online where whenever a violent shooting or attack happens, the very first thing they do is go “Guys a fed”.
They seem to think that any shooting or attack that’s happened within the past 2 years is secretly the plan of the government to try and take away people’s guns or “deflect” from some recent issues or other asinine crap.
They can never admit that some people do this becuase they are horrible people, it’s always gotta be some elaborate government conspiracy to make it slightly harder to buy and jerk off to your 15th AR-15
Just ike whenever a right-leaning person does something shitty, they always have to resort to saying they are a “plant” to make them look bad (as if they need any help with that). The Right is incapable of admitting that there are horrible people within their groups.

True that; they still won’t take any responsibility for Jan. 6, and some have even made posts defending their actions on that day. I don’t see how that alone would be enough to have them investigated by the FBI or Secret Service.
It’s honestly scary knowing such individuals walk among us. I used to be friends with someone who started out as a libertarian but his blind hatred for Democrats turned him towards the Trump and QAnon camp. Even so, he still has a Latina wife and a kid, which is even more scary.

I sometimes even compared the Ukraine invasion to the Vietnam and Iraq Wars. Both have bled the US and became more unpopular.
Since you are a nationalist, can you confirm the party’s stance on LGBT people, non-Catholics, and atheists? People think that the party wants to bring back Mussolini because of its rhetoric and past ties with a far-right group.

Updates on the Russian School Mass Shooting
TL;DR: The death toll in the Mass School Shooting in Izhevsk, Russia has increased to 17, with 11 children included among the dead. The Russia’s Investigative Committee has identified the alleged shooter of a 34 year old, was a former student at the school. While the motive is unclear at the moment, the committee is looking in the shooter’s possible neofascist views”. A spokesman for President Vladimir Putin call this school shooting in Russia a Terrorist Act.

The world that schools prepared us for a decade ago is gone and it ain’t coming back.
And who knows how the next few months will play out here in America, in Iran, in the EU, and in Ukraine + Russia.

I have several friends who live in Russia, and one of them is considered eligible for being drafted to the army. Now he’s planning to escape, and I’m worried that he might be in danger. Especially that the gov is planning to close the borders.
I thought that if you are eligible for drafting, it’s instant, and they will drag you away to die in the meat grinder. If anyone knows about life in Russia, can anyone explain whether is it that instant or not?

“Educational” systems don’t actually educate but instill unquestionable loyalty of a country to unwitting masses. Why else do you think America forces students to pledge allegiance to what is essentially a hate symbol to countries that suffered under US-backed autocracies?
And this is true for any country, democracy or autocracy, that indoctrinates people to be proud of their heritage, even if said heritage was built off slavery, racism and class warfare, no matter what.

Honestly, being upset at a country for holding land in the past when the people responsible for it no longer being in office is just being petty and actively trying to find excuses to hate a country. Look at where focusing on the dead past got Putin.
