I think if it’s true that the US has a low birth rate (no thanks to a high cost of living – by Republicans and corporate people?), I would expect its future majority to be mostly Mexicans and Chinese (the same kind of people I come from, although I don’t support or obey the Beijing government). It’s because the Mexican Americans have more children than usual Americans, and a rising China might lead to more immigration.
These new Americans might feel less like “Americans”, so they might discontinue the country and split it up, or create a new kind of republic that’s as unified as anywhere in Western Europe or China: either way, that would mean that the Stars and Stripes might end up in a museum. There might be some angry Whites (like alt-righters) and conservatives forming enclaves out of fear that they might go extinct, though.
At least we might end up with new flags and anthems.
Those are my two cents.

Researchers from Carnegie Mellon University found that about half of more than 200 million tweets related to covid-19 that have been sent since January appear to be from bots. About half of all accounts tweeting about “reopening America” appeared to be bots, and 60 perfect of the 1,000 most influential retweeters appeared to be bots. Of the top 50 influential accounts, 82 percent are bots. Basically, a whole lot of fake accounts are artificially inflating the “movement” to reopen America. The researchers were able to categorize more than 100 types of inaccurate covid-19 stories, but tweets about ending stay-at-home orders were the most frequent.
