Given that GG only exists because of the groundwork laid by Retake Mass Effect, they really should’ve forced Bioware to capitulate and give us the ending we wanted. None of us would’ve even heard of GG if that had happened!
 
In all seriousness, trying to tie things back to GG is retarded, since it was an online movement, and didn’t have much impact outside of gaming. The multifaceted and complex trends that led to Trump also led to the Floyd protests. If I can easily imagine a world where both Trump is president and the Floyd protests happen without GG, then it’s unlikely that GG isn’t that much of a factor leading to either.
