The only reason that Trump isn’t a fully fledged dictator with absolute power is because the Presidency has limited power, however the “Checks and Balances” system is only as good as those who enforce it.
His policies consistently makes the lives harder of people who aren’t his skin color or of similar wealth. His absolute blunder with this Pandemic and his dismissal of intellectuals is in line with many dictatorial regimes’ behaviors in the past.
He adores and admires Duterte, Kim Jong Un, Putin and Jair Balsonaro. Really and truly, he may not be a full fledged one but he’s still a dictator.
Anyone who played games back in 2016 were like, “He’s not that bad” or “Whats the worse that could happen,” and now here we are. It’d be fine if the consequences only befell those who voted like that, but when people play stupid games its the whole damn country that wins the stupid prize and our “prize” was Donald Trump.

Their latest ad is addressed directly to the incumbent, and its message couldn’t be clearer: (they’re all plotting against you). It’s a clever bit of work, purporting to take the incumbent’s side against leakers and gossips while driving home the idea that he’s a weak leader who doesn’t command respect from anyone in his orbit and working in some of the other claims against him. But validating the paranoia of the guy with the launch codes cannot possibly be a good idea.
