I’m used to cleaning my ears with Q-tips. I dunno why.

Most people have wet waxy ear wax. But for genetic reasons, I have dry flaky ear wax.  
Ear wax has never been a problem for me. The only reason I use Q-tips in my ears(despite all the warnings not to) is to relieve itches in my ears.  
But I do occasionally pull out large pieces.

This is a Taiwanese ad.
 
But it’s narrated completely in English for no apparent reasons even though the main language in Taiwan is Mandarin.  
Who are they marketing their products to again?

You always can go to any small clinic to get a medical ear wash for a reasonable fee. Avoid hydrogen peroxide as it can damage your eardrums.
