Frankly that movie was better than it had any right to be.

Bay wasn’t involved with Freddy vs Jason either but that didn’t stop Doug from doing a 2-minute sketch about him(also Zack Snyder)  
It’s a hasbro movie he will force it in

I remember when that movie came out,I kinda wanted to see it just because it had John Tui in it. He was Doggie Cruger and Daggeron in Power Rangers.

I remember when he did an extended skit about the TMNT 2 movie that was just one long jab at Bay.
 
Except it backfired. Instead of dunking on Bay it make Doug look like a punk for who’ll hate anything for even a tangential connection to [Guy Internet Says Dunking On Will Make You Cool].

And Bay was only an executive producer and from what I heard from Beau Skunky he barely had any involvement.

The problem is that he tries focusing too much on Skechers now up to a point where some of his reviews are nothing but sketchs. And no doug copyright claims is not an excuse

I wish he’d do more clipless reviews. Mad Max,Rogue One and Pixels are like little movies. He could put those out on DVD or Blu-ray and make a little bit more money.

he clearly just wants to do a sketch show but his actual sketch failed and demo reel is putting much modern day nostalgia critic

So maybe he should just stop doing reviews? His sponsor commercials were the highlights of the last few videos i saw that he did.

Also note I think doug’s movie making skills might have rubbed off on other creators he worked with.  
Has Abby video game night movie is also very egotistical putting the character on a pedestalI haven’t seen it but I also heard the Cinema snob movie does the same thing

Yeah, Bay was hardly involved in the TMNT movies, but people still love to use him as an excuse to hate them…  
If he was more involved, then Megan Fox wouldn’t of been April, because she didn’t get along with him. (Why she dropped out of the Transformers movies.)
 
Truthfully, I unironically enjoyed the “Out of the Shadows” movie, (it was much better then the previous TMNT movie) and I thought it did a good job with characters like Bebop & Rocksteady making them both comical, and threatening. It also fixed problems the previous had. such as making the Foot Clan more ninja-like, (instead of militant terrorists) and giving the turtles more focus then the human characters, and having them deal with their own issues, as well as the threat of the bad guys, humanizing ’em.
 
Only problem was, like alot of modern superhero/comic movies, they probably tried to fit too many classic characters in, so some like Splinter, Karai, Baxter Stockman, and Krang, though he gets more spotlight in the climax were hardly in it.

I personally didn’t have much problems with those movies anyway. Not even how the turtles looked.

Same, but they could’ve looked better admittedly. In “Out of the Shadows” they tried to make ‘em a bit more turtle-like.
 
In fact, some feel the old rubber Muppet suits didn’t age well. While in the original TMNT they looked good, and fit it’s tone, in the sequels however… Didn’t age well… I’ll even say the “BayTurtles” look better then TMNT3 or “The Next Mutation.”

They are good looking costumes they were made by Jim Henson after all(the first two movies) but they still look like costumes.

After Henson died though, they kinda went downhill in the sequels.
 
I hear Henson actually had his credits removed (aside from the creature shop) and didn’t like how TMNT turned out, because he thought it was too dark and violent. (And this guy made “The Dark Crystal,” and “Labyrinth,” not to mention wanted to name one of his Muppet TV specials, “Sex & Violence,” but that might’ve been meant ironically.)

obviously the costumes have more of a charm to them because they’re something that actually exist CGI can be much more expressive.
