How long does the virus lasts outside of the body?

I’ve heard new reports claim that it can take up to 24 days for symptoms of the virus to show up.

A friendly reminder that the 2009 influenza outbreak infected 11-20% of the world population during that time and more than 500,000 people died yet we survived that whole ordeal with pride.

The only time we should be worried about a virus that is capable of making humanity go extinct; it’s if an airborne version of the rabies virus exists.

Is it safe to take pill that are from china?

Fun fact: viruses are often selected to be less deadly because being non-fatal usually has the benefit of allowing them to spread more.

To add to this, the Spanish Flu killed people WITHIN HOURS of them becoming infected. There were literally cases of people going to work in the morning perfectly healthy, getting coughed on and then they were dead before sundown. THAT’S the kind of thing that could have ended civilization.

I don’t think there’s been any confirmation of this yet but there’s word spreading around that Chinese media is reporting that it can take up to 42 FUCKING DAYS for any symptoms to show.
 
If this is true then it’s time for the global community to take further action.

Btw. Here in Madrid, apparently a lot of shops in Ucera (chinatown basically) are CLOSED.
 
Fucking CLOSED. During the day. During WEEKDAYS. Apparently local spanish are sufficiently spooked that they aint going to no china restaurants or shops or that neighborhood.
 
One time I was talking with a taxi driver and I asked him “yo if like, a chinese guy hails you, you can’t just ignore the guy.” and he said “yes I can. I will ignore the guy”
