Pfizer is still good, but Moderna seems to have a higher efficacy against Delta.
It should be noted that some of that increase may be an artifact of how the shots in arms are currently 3 to 1 Pfizer. Given that Pfizer is covering a much larger swath of the population, it will be more subject to individual differences amoung the population, which could account for some (though likely not all) the differences between the two.
All in all, take any single paper with a pinch of salt till more research is done.
Yeah apparently I was one of the unlucky ones. The second shot clapped me hard, up to and including making my eyes extremely irritated for the next couple hours. I felt fine after, and it was a couple weeks after my eye turned red, but I don’t know.
The fact that anti-vaxxers are using I Am Legend, a Science Fiction Movie, to fuel their anti-vaccine propaganda is so laughably stupid, even the screenwriter finds this dumb.
There have been a report in the UK saying that apparently Vegan’s are allowed to not take the vaccine on “Ethical Grounds” (the reason being that since the vaccines were tested on animals, they are allowed to not take it as Veganism does not allow for products that have been tested on animals)
Now cue a sudden increase in veganism due to a bunch of desperate anti-vaxxers/maskers trying to find any excuse they can to try and not take the shot.
Even though several people who are vegan have said “Dude, just take the vaccine, we can bend the rules this one time to make sure people don’t die”
I wonder what happens when we run out of Greek letters. Do we just keep moving down Unicode? InB4 strains Ken (Կ), Don (დ), No (の), Rupees (₨), Antimony (🜭), and Voiced retroflex lateral approximant (ɭ)
