I’m scared that Dump will reopen the economy

Thing to remember is that a most if not all of the closings of “non-essential businesses” wasn’t the Fed’s call, but that of the state and local jurisdictions. I think they’ll be more in a position to judge if the situation is safe enough to ease restrictions.

I’m pretty sure the locals aren’t going to open things back up if the numbers keep rising in their jurisdictions. Dallas county, for example, is staying on the “Shelter in Place” order to at least next week, but I would not be surprised if they extend it for another two weeks.

Are they at least testing people that are showing symptoms? I can understand not doing a large number of tests if the test kits are of limited availability.

480 cases in Utah, just 2 deaths so far.

I DON’T WANT RESTRICTIONS TO BE EASED!!!

You left out the part where he said they call. He didn’t say he doesn’t answer and didn’t say the agencies under his command wouldn’t continue operations.

No yeah, they’re testing ppl WITH symptoms. That’s how we get so much number already. My biggest concern is that the guys they’ve been testing, have been ppl with MAJOR symptoms, and the elderly, that’s how we got so much dead.
 
Which then makes me completely 100% sure that we’ve got at least 200k cases unreported as of right now.
 
Another issue is that despite entering a proper state of emergency, I still see construction guys doing work and boomers going about in bars. I get that they’ve survived the damn civil war and nothing scares them but come on!

Well in fairness, even here construction work gets exempted as it is considered an essential service. But going to and staying at bars, and not just getting something to go? That’s a bad idea.

I don’t see all these restrictions lasting the rest of the year or going into 2021. It’s just not going to happen. The economy is going to have to open back up eventually. I don’t see them opening up on Easter Sunday like Trump said. I mostly see restrictions being sloooowly lifted in the next couple months probably during or a bit before Summertime.

New evidence from China suggests that the death rate there is possibly well over quadruple the number they have reported. With funeral homes, plural, being photographed shipping in and out thousands of urns for the cremated bodies, with just 1 funeral home photographed with over 6,000 urns.

As a Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever survivor, if I get bitten by another goddamn mosquito and contract dengue once again, will I have an extremely high chance of also getting the coronavirus at the same time even I absolutely never go outside?
