I’m in a REALLY bad mood after reading about Singapore having its largest rise to date (Singapore’s been pretty bad recently with surges in cases)

I don’t know who Martin Shkreli is, but when he wrote something to the effect of “Get me out of prison and I’ll find the cure for Covid19. I’m the only guy uniquely qualified to do it, anyway” I was like: “Okay yeah that’s badass!”
 
Why not. We’re already smack dab in the middle of a disaster movie anyway. Having a convicted-felon-super-genius as one of the main character isn’t the worst thing I can think of.

Shkreli was the guy who abused the drug licensing rules to raise drug prices on Daraprim and rip people off. He is pretty crazy.

TIL the king of Thailand has not been in Thailand during the past two weeks. He in GERMANY, quarantined. But that’s not the news. The news is that he’s holed up in a luxury hotel with 20 concubines, while his wife in another luxury hotel in Switzerland. Must be nice.

I mean, if the PotUS was right (he’s got this insanely prophetic intuitions usually) then why not Hydroxylchloroquine? Most medical professionals are like “but why? WHY?” but the PotUS be like “I have a good feeling trust me. My instinct is good I have Ultra Instinct” then MAYBE they should just go ahead with it, why not.

But we already have the vaccine from DARPA. So his offer to help is pointless. Advanced military R&D made what even the top medical professionals called impossible, possible. And it didn’t take help from a felon to do it.
