For anyone wondering about the latter, is was a case on heart inflammation and how often it occurred after being vaccinated, the chances were mistakenly listed as 1 in 1,000 when it was actually 1 in 1,25,000.

What happens to you if you get covid but recover? do you have lasting effects from it?

To answer your question, it depends.
 
Some people, unfortunately, develop long covid and have lasting symptoms for an as of yet indeterminate amount of time. People who have been hospitalized also will have “post intensive care” symptoms that can last for months depending on how long they were hospitalized. This can be throat lesions from the intubation, muscle atrophy, skin sores and rashes, memory problems, and sensory issues. Lastly, the virus likes to attack key body systems, including lungs, heart, brain, and liver. This damage can range from minor to severe, and can either heal easily or leave you with permanent scarring.
 
Either way, the best way to avoid finding out is to get vaccinated and wear a mask.

Kuala Lumpur and Selangor are moving up to Phase 3 on Friday, which means more shops and public venues will be reopened. This is due to the dropping infections and hospitalisation cases in those states.

Idiots bringing up the “mark of the beast” in response to the vax have the wrong biblical allegory.
 
The vax is more like the goats blood that the faithful smeared above their door so that the final plague of Egypt wouldn’t claim their first born. Its literally a “sign from god” to protect you from a deadly plague.

I really hope that we’ll be much more prepared for an Asteroid that’s at least 10 miles wide, “The Big One” Type Earthquakes, a Super Volcano erupting, or a massive solar storm that would fry any non-EMP Proofed Electronics than we are for the flu on steroids that’s spawned the Anti-Vax Cult.
 
Because holy fuck, we’d do awful in something like a straight up zombie apocalypse.
