||The Chainsaw Devil, aka Chainsaw Man, is a devil entity in Hell with a unique ability even among the devils. Devils in the CSM world never actually die. They follow a perpetual cycle of respawning. CSM is unique in that, any devil or angel he eats will experience permadeath--they will never respawn.||
||This is important because devils and angels in CSM are literally *concepts or nouns personified.* Not sure which comes first, but anything that a man could think of, has their devil personification existing somewhere. The relation between a devil and the noun is so strong, to the point that, IF someone manage to completely erase the existence of a devil, the noun and concept associated with it, disappears entirely, even from reality--so this isn't just about people *forgetting* a concept. Physics can be absolutely broken if you kill all the physics devils or angels, for example.||
||Which means. Chainsaw Man, at his full power, is able to completely erase cancer or hunger, if he ate the respective entities--like the way he ate the Nazi Devil. Yes. Ya boy ate the Nazi Devil. That is why Nazi Germany, Hitler, and The Holocaust was completely erased from human history, and only super elite devils like Makima has any recollection of them.||
