Ah yes it could be worse for Nintendo Switch OLED.

I’m getting all the upgrades, heart tanks, and sub-tanks in Mega Man X. X becomes OP by the end of the game.

The “OLED” doesn’t bother me, and while it has improvements, it’s definately not worth trading your old Switch in.
 
Truthfully, I’m glad it’s not the rumored replacement “more powerful Switch.” I just got a Switch last year, so I’m not ready to have to buy a new console, just to play slightly prettier versions of games already on Switch.
 
In fact, video game graphics, and power are so advanced now, I hardly see any difference between now, and the previous game generation.

The situation you had is one of the reasons why a Switch Pro isn’t necessary. As many consoles it sells, a Switch Pro would split the audience in a silly ridiculous way.

Keep in mind, Gamers don’t like graphical downgrades and 30fps of their favorite games being ported to the Switch, claiming it can’t run on the Switch. Gamers (and Devs) want the Switch something up to snuff, 4K Graphics and 60fps.

I hate Dead Money. At least I’m finally done with that DLC.

I don’t get the hate for Dead Money.
 
Yea it’s got its problems, but the Sierra Madra itself is cool, there’s some good weapons and drops to get, the story is interesting, and there’s that cool ending where you can trap the BoS guy forever in the vault.

I found it annoying to play, personally. Too many collectable, the environment discourage exploration, it all looks too similar and boring, the game does what it can to prevent you from leaving with the goods you earned, the companion with the most useful perk is also the most annoying, you get the idea.

I think the theme alone carries it for me. The idea of this decrepit casino, jealously holding onto its treasures and secrets, enduring past the end of the world. Where a host of characters of ill repute find themselves trapped until they can pry it loose.
 
It appeals to me.

It’s a great idea, I just think the execution drags it through the mud.

IMO Dead Money doesn’t go far enough with its premise or gimmicks.
 
Strip you of your weapons, forcing you to scavenge weapons! Except it gives one of the best weapons in the game or DLCs from the start.
 
Strip you of your gear, forcing you to scavenge armor! Except you’re pointed to the police station at the start, which you can find armor that’s tied for the best Light Armor tiered gear in any of the DLCs.
 
Strip you of your loot, forcing you to scavenge for health! Except it’s not too long before even a mildly attentive searcher can find the Stimpak recipe, at which point you’re back in godmode.
 
There’s a fog that saps your health in certain areas! Except see the above point.
 
Unique companions with invaluable perks! Except you can only use any one of them for all of 2 minutes each, before they’re gone forever. And there’s only an incredibly short period where you can actually choose between them, otherwise you’re stuck with whoever is needed at that moment for story reasons.
 
2 new enemy types with unique mechanics to them! Except only the holograms live up to their gimmick. The Ghost People are only a surprise in the one time you don’t overkill them. Otherwise if you have the Bloody Mess perk they’re just normal enemies, if you learn to double tap them when they’re down they’re not a problem, or if you learn Dog’s unique perk (which you can learn accidentally and immediately) then they’re just normal enemies.
 
The entire DLC is like that. It’s so close to being special but it never has the confidence to commit to its concepts.

I didn’t get Dog’s perk until in the second half since I was using God instead.

God is the better of the 2. Use Dog as soon as you get them out of the cage, kill the first Ghost Person you see after exiting the police station, immediately get the perk then bring God back out all in like a 1 minute 20 second time frame, spend the rest of the DLC bored and disappointed out of your mind at the wasted potential.

Repair boxes are buyable and the police pistol isn’t bad either.

Wiki says it can only be repaired with kits or merchants or ED-E. No weapons.
