Not at all. The dungeons being copy/paste-RNG messes and quests being incompleteable because the target doesn’t spawn in the dungeon you’re sent to are much worst than mediocre combat. I explained that in my post.

I’m guessing that the combat is the most mentioned dealbreaker for people, hence you thinking that. I also mentioned that all quests are time sensitive (including the main quest), which is also much worst than the combat.

The fact that Bethesda included a devkit with the download of Daggerfall on their website in case a player gets stuck in an incomplete or randomly generated dungeon without an exit should tell you something.

After all the news coming out about Activision-Blizzard, I never want to hear people say Nintendo is just as bad as EA or Activision-Blizzard again.
 
Nintendo might do bad things, but at least they never protected and enabled sexual predators.

that we know of, Nintendo is based in a country where you can get a massive verbal beat down from your parents for reporting people touching you on a train, and where cultural pressure to never step out of line or be a hindetrence to the company exists,
 
There’s been no accusations levied at Nintendo to my knowledge. But it’s not exactly a safe bet to say it hasn’t happened or yet to.
