Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

I forgot about the Warden Keep DLC before I helped my cousin gib a DA:O save for DA2 using Nexus.

Warden Keep is pretty decent. Good armor, good sword, good perks.

Best part is when you import that Warden into Awakening though. Since the armor is the best one you’ll probably have them wear it. But since the armor doesn’t import into Awakening that means your Warden will be standing there in their undies while wearing a helmet, gauntlets and boots like a jackass.

That’s silly. And I thought it was Awakening at first until I saw that was the next DLC.

Are VGA even relevant? I think the gaming industry is gonna need lots of decades to be on the same level as the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

Most people watch it for the trailers instead of the awards, so at that point, what’s the goal of taking it seriously?

You have no idea how much corporations care about commercials. Look up how much having a commercial in the Superbowl cost.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against commercials, but the VGAs are supposed to be a ceremony and to give awards to the people who design games. Because of that, and especially how “MLG pro” these ceremonies are, we need more decades until the videogame industry starts to be taken seriously.

It’s kinda ironic, because the people who want the videogames to be treated like art are the same ones who don’t want the gaming industry to evolve. You just have to watch the user score of The Last of Us 2 in Metacritic. But I think both approaches can coexist: Inmersive stories (like the Fumito Ueda games and Firewatch) and stupid silly games (like Smash Bros).

They are. After all, no take any award seriously except the for the people choice. This due to rumors that some companies bought the judges off. It’s like video game journalist.

Then there whole “Holier than thou” attitude. They look down on people while screwing someone younger than them. Racism, sexism, etc, they’re all that and are just self-project it on to other to make themselves feel less guilty.
