I’m really sorry to hear that. I was lucky that Nintendo fixed my Joycons for free, but I wish this service was free for everyone.

Have you checked if some stores have alternative controllers? I have an Hori classic controller because I heard that the official classic controller also can drift. Mine doesn’t have HD rumble, but it’s comfortable.

I’m actually looking into (what I think is) the Hori version of the joycons. Fron what I remember, it’s basically just a Pro Controller, but it’s split in half.

From what I remember Joycon repair is supposed to be free in the US by default. NOE, in comparison was notorious combative and bad with Joycon fixes

Also the Hori Split Pad Pro is an absolute blessing

That’s my fear, though I was joking that it will be a GTA5 port.

I feel like Rockstar’ll just forget about GTA6 after a while if it doesn’t have an online mode for them to shovel everything into, like they did with GTA5.

I decided to buy ME:LE since it’s 50% off.

I’m still really disappointed that Primal Kerrigan looks exactly the same as Infested Kerrigan in Starcraft 2.

Fetch quests and backtracking are usually considered padding to artificially extend the length of the game.
BUT, they can work if traversing from point A to point B is fun.
Dying Light managed to make it fun for the most part. Far cry series tho? imo not so much.

The difference was that Dying Light was essentially built around the concept.

Any gameplay loop/mechanic can be made fun if it becomes a central pillar rather than bolted on.

Next month I’m getting Kirby and the Forgotten Land on Switch.

Yeah. When traversing is an afterthought it really makes you want to spam fast travel just so you won’t feel like wasting time.

Characters in AAA cinematic video games: Starts talking about their hopes and dreams and saying this high risk business is they chance at it.

Nintendo is really protective of their IPs.

From what I understand, Japanese copyright laws are VERY different from American ones.

Dead by Daylight is a game of Ring Around the Rosie where the guy with the knife isn’t the bad guy.

Occasionally, if you perform a triple jump as Peachette, her voice will briefly revert to Toadette before she clears her throat.

And that’s Tales from the Borderlands. Now I’m just one DLC away from being fully caught up with the series. Wonder if 3 will go on sale anytime soon.

I’m getting Sonic Frontiers on Switch.
