I think I’m noticing a pattern. Swapping ports didn’t help much, but I notice that the connection issues seems to happen when I place it down (moving the cord part on the controller) and sometimes when I use keys on the keyboard (mostly saving). I think the issue is the controller’s wiring near the base.

Yeah I know what you’re talking about. Had that problem with my old PS2’s tv cord.

Taping it or propping it up with a block at the angle can serve as a stopgap fix. But otherwise there’s not much you can do if the problem is under the hood.

I just removed the electrical tape. Wires are popping out big time.

Well unless that pulled the wires more loose you can try pressing the wires back down and re-taping it, hoping that’ll work.

Otherwise it might be time to take it out behind the barn.

I pushed them in and applied new electrical tape to them (after removing the old). I’ll see how well it works tomorrow.

Finally decided to finish Dragons Dogma. The Senechal twist is…interesting, but eh. It does give DD its own identity, I guess.

Gonna run through again on hard mode to grind a few more achievements.

Good luck with that. A second playthough of that game sounds like torture to me, but each their own.

Some of the tracks have a strange pattern of having two of the same name, then the setting. Like Ice Ice Outpost, Sweet Sweet Canyon and Moo Moo Meadows.

So I saw the last trailers of Final Fantasy XVI to catch up what the deal was with the game.

And I think it’s the first time in my life I’m interested in a Final Fantasy videogame, mainly because it doesn’t look like a videogame for teens, which was my problem with these games. That and the artstyle.

There are things I don’t like, like the guy with the hoodie not showing his face, which is a very Nomura thing to do. I’m sick of this trope, but hopefully the story of this game will be great. After all, it can’t be as bad and boring as Final Fantasy XIII, right?

Well, the point is he did a really good job saving the game.

I’m not gonna buy and play a videogame just because “someone saved it”. If I buy a videogame, it’s because it’s something interesting to me, like Hades or Enter the Gungeon.

However, since this is still Final Fantasy (for better or worse), I’d rather be ambivalent to avoid hype culture. This game is getting made by a company who has greenlit moments and actual dialogue like “you owe me a pizza” or “who else will I have ice cream with?”.

I’m aware some FF fans said that “this doesn’t look like Final Fantasy anymore” when, in reality, every FF game has changes. This argument doesn’t hold water to me. It sounds ilogical.

I wonder if the new Armor Core game will carry over the first game’s cash limit, making the player the financial element of giant mechs fighting.

I’m not as familiar with Armored Core as other people, but I wouldn’t be surprised since From Software games are more focused on overcoming big challenges, like Tenchu, King’s Field, Dark Souls and Sekiro.
