Most of Twitch’s moderation team along with its trust and safety council, are either very ideologically biased or very dull-minded. Adding to this, Jeff Bezos isn’t even lifting a SINGLE DAMN FINGER nor even responding lightly to the complaints of much of the userbase, let alone hiring more competent people for the moderation team. I’m not surprised by such a thing. Twitch, while still better than Livestream.com as well as, in some cases, Youtube Live, has had many stupid decisions regarding nonsensical changes to their TOS over the years, especially after Amazon bought them.

As horrible as the game is, Laura Bailey had nothing to do with the game’s failure. There’s no excuse to be sending her these threats.

The The Quiet Man makes me feel bad for deaf people, because that’s the game that has a deaf protagonist.

All she did was voice acting Abby, that’s it; just voice acting. There’s no reason to after someone for the game’s failure (although the user review scores on Metacritic are leveling out).

Guys, does profiting on Fan games makes it illegal?
 
There is this Sonic fangame that was recently released called Sonic 2020, but is behind a lot of paywalls.

This fan proyect is behind a patron wall, and you need to pay to unlock more levels.
 
Many people say that profiting with an IP without being officially endorsed, like you said, is illegal.
 
But, since the existence of Patron, fanart can now be behind paywalls if the artist who created it makes that decision, even when its fanart from IPs owned by private corporations.
 
Whats the difference between profiting on fanart with Patron, with an almost fully playable fangame?
 
Its like if Black Mesa was created without Valve’s permission, and its only downloable on Patron, but since is fan content, like a lot of things, there is no problem with it?
 
Sorry, I am also having problems trying to explain this.

I didn’t play Code Vein very much when I first got it, so it isn’t much of a surprise that I’ve almost caught up to my stopping point on my first playthrough. What does surprise me though is that so far, I’ve only died three times. I’m sure that will change once I get out of familiar territory, though.

I don’t see how the reviews evening out are good, since odds are most of them are blindly praising or hating the game (or just joining the hate/love wagon) instead of giving it an actual review.

I’ve heard that next gen’s games will have an increment of price of 10 Dollars/Euros. That really stinks. It’s already painful enough to pay 500 dollars/euros for the consoles, but 70-80 dollars for a single game? That’s too much. And we also have to consider the annual price for PS Plus and Xbox live Gold to play online. I have a really bad feeling about this.

I’m considering pre-ordering Cyberpunk, just to give companies like EA and Act the middle finger. I have no interest in the game itself, just that it’s a single-player game that looks like it will blast the idea of “single-player games don’t sell” with a nuke.

I heard it’s just NBA 2021 at this time, though it’s likely going to be the first one as a test. Too bad it’s a franchise infamous for grotesque microtransactions, including their 2020 trailer having literal casino machines in it, so they’re choosing one of the worst games to test this on. Also, them doing it in the middle of a pandemic also shows how they aren’t taking reality into account. Sadly, I can see defenders taking the sale numbers out of contexts to “prove” that we aren’t ready for games to go $70 to not need mictrotansactions (though lets be honest, they’ll still shove them in, since how else can the exploit their customers?).
