Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

A-2 of LM2 finished. I feel like this will be a “by mission” game for me, especially since I plan on 100% it and have all stages 3*.

The Paramount is, LF isn’t caring what people gravitate towards and will use whatever they gain from those to fund what they want the Star wars brand. What’s the point if they’re not going to listen and then ridicule and chastise me and others?
 
 
The thing with Jar-Jar is: At least George had the self-awareness to dial him back and he wasn’t as obnoxious in later film, Ewoks were another and you’ll still allowed to make fun of those characters. Try to make jokes at the expense of any Disney character without being labeled something, which just makes people hate them more since you’re not even to mock the idiocy of them. Just consoom and wait for next product and then tell fans how terrible they are for not liking their changes and “deconstructions”.

At least there’s new material instead of just updating the graphics.

I took down three big-brain ghosties in A-3. Also got the first upgrade. I know that A-4 is where I get the item needed to go Boo-hunting.

I recall correctly, but in dark moon, the elemental power up are absent in that game?

Yeah this is what I was talking about before.

Ya know, would it cause some kind of physical agony for BioWare to actually fix the romances in the old republic? like they all need to be redone, so instead of tacking on a few lines after 100+ hours of gameplay to add in same sex relationships, just fix them all from the start

I mean most of the romances could use an update period, like very single force user has some bad stuff that could be rewritten Jedi Councilor and Sith Warrior both have relationships that could use a rework anyway, so just add in same sex options in the base game instead of the lame crap they ended up doing,

I sort of disagree with that middle point, as the potentially toxic and destructive side of the Sith Warriors…unique dark side romance is a good counterpoint to the much more wholesome and bonded light side romance.
 
It shows how horrible the dark side is compared to the light.
 
It’s squick, but it’s artistic squick.

I’d prefer it to lead to vette trying to kill you, using the “romance” to set up her attempt, and permenantly scarring the Sith Warrior disabling all sex/romance related stuff going forward as they are to scared of oming that close to death again, while Vette revals in the pain she inflicted even if you are still alive and still have the collar,

That sort of kills the dynamic they’re going for, which is to show the corruptive and soul crushing power of the dark side.
 
The DS Vet romance represents the erosion of will that comes from such evil. The Sith live to dominate, it’s what they do.
 
 
And it’s what makes the LS romance so much better. Because it is an actual romance, not a toxic domination based on power.
 
 
We’re supposed to feel awful about the DS Vet romance, which is why a even many of the pure DS players won’t do it. Its apparently one of the least played of all the romance options.
 

 
 
Bad stuff like that happens in the real world, and it’s fine to reflect it in art. It’s meant to make us uncomfortable. Yes, someone is going to get their rocks off to it, but those people aren’t exactly normal anyway. We shouldn’t shy away from depicting, unnerving or unpleasant circumstances in art.

My issue is how fetishistically the DS romance is presented, combined with all the other stuff, it makes the game come off as questionable towards women in general, and with this being treated as a serious work not porn i find it objectionable,

Tbf, female Sith Warriors can torture her too. And Sith torture males too, with the same fetishistic glee.
 
They’re Sith. Causing pain and suffering with a smile and a fully extended lightsaber / thighs wetter than Dagoba is their MO.

I’m more on about Vette being into it, and stuff like how one of the Female PC’s possible love interests has the yandere AI stuff like that, the boring fact that almost every Male force user has a relationship with their apprentice as an option ect,

Three goes at this one level in Cloud Gardens and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong in it.

Well there you go. The key word. “Option”. Not every choice will appeal to everyone. Some of us like the old forbidden romance between jedi or student and master trope.
