I’ve always heard it as accepted wisdom that your first and last match should be the best you’ve got. Get them hyped, then send them home happy.

Harsh reality: Not everyone can be the main star. That’s why you build the card in such a way that each match adds something to hype the main event.
 
Not all PPV’s are gonna have a constant 5 star match, even New Japan doesn’t. Those are called Breather Matches and are meant to let the people rest and get their momentum back, much like a rollercoaster; where you have your slow peak where the hype is built, then the fast descend where the emotion and adrenaline kick in, then you go to another peak and then another descent.
 
Best example of this was Cena vs Styles at last year’s rumble. Damn good, but not so much it tires the crowd and the result makes it all the more exciting to see who wins the rumble
 
How NOT to do it is how they did this year. After the male Rumble it took a lot of time before the crowd got pumped again to the point where they were dead for the remainder of the PPV, I’ve even say a good chunk of the female rumble

Throughout the year

I’ve always felt that your first match should be a proper barnstormer, leading to a second with a slow build that allows the audience to get their breath back, ending with a satisfying finish.

Styles/Nakamura is the Wrestling Match on the Mania 34 Card either way. Vince’s/Corporate hand-picked Baby closing out Mania for the millionth Time definetly won’t make Wrestling Fans satisfied, so in my Mind having AJ & Shinsuke closing out the Show would be a much better Choice! :o #ListenToTheFansVince #StylesVsNakamura

Tyler Bate definetly has a lot of Potential thinking how good he already is with being 20 Years old! By the way, why he’s losing apparently is because of Heat he got last Year(do Research on that). He should’ve definetly advanced in the Cruiserweight Tournament in my Opinion. :o #BritishStrongStyle

Is Rollins/Angle happening at Mania 34? Hmm, if so I think Rollins can lead Angle to a Solid Match at this Point.

Tyler was kinda the bitch in British Strong Style too. It was pretty much his gimmick (with Trent the older mentor, and Dunn as the monster). The fact that he was the weakest member of the team was very apparent, especially now his beating Dunn seems to have been a fluke.

After watching the latest mixed match challenge, I want to give a PSA for all female superstars.
 
No matter how much your opponent sucks, please remember that the top turnbuckle is a really dangerous place to stand. Because when you get eliminated from the rumble by Dana Brook, or pinned by Lana, we’ll never let you live it down.

Sighs Well Rollins/Lesnar is not happening unfortunately, so Rollins/Angle is the most likely thing happening thanks to Jordan’s Neck Surgery. It really doesn’t surprise me that Styles/Nakamura is the only Match I care about at Mania 34. :o
