In the 10 months since this question was asked, a lot of things have happened that, depending on how you look at it, make a sequel absolutely nesscessary, completly impossible, or both. As well as making it rather hard to see the original in quite the same way…

Disney sequels are hit or miss. “The Rescuers Down Under” was a good sequel, and the only one I can think of some prefer over the original.
Though, “Wreck-it Ralph 2” doesn’t seem as well loved as the first. I liked it, but I admit I prefer the original.

Regardless, I’d actually love a “Zootopoia 2,” though they might need wait a few years ’till all this IRL American “police” drama dies down.
(Which has gotten some police shows & such cancelled.)

Yes, the latter is probably a bigger issue than the former. But on tbe flip side, is there even a point to a Zootopia sequel about anything else at this point? True that you might want to wait for it to be a bit less fresh - if it will be.

Well, damn. Apparently it’s not going focus on Nick and Judy but rather the other residents of Zootopia.

That’s what I was afraid would happen. Hate to say it, but I was kind of hoping for more of the main duo.

At least we still have that Return to Zootopia fan sequel… if it hasn’t been C&D’d yet.
