To be honest I don’t really care about the badges I got, but If I’m going to have them then I wish for one I can feel I earned, like that one I suggested for user that try to help but can screw up so people can knew we mean well.

Well, the post I made on June 18th (The one of the Tiarawhy image) was made with the “Post anonymously” box checked, though I was logged in. The one on July 23rd (Rarity with a towel) was NOT anonymous. Maybe anonymous posts made when logged in don’t count?

I definitely can’t see your anon posts listed, but was that feature available since the beginning? I guess it was.

Well, one month is actually about the gap between those two posts. I don’t even know why I decided to remain an anon when making that first post. I think I may have made some other posts anonymously (Likely on porn images), but I don’t do that anymore.

Post as-anon was always a feature. The first comment on the site was even posted as-anon. And promptly deleted to test we could actually do that.

Look in the first few images of the Ponibooru tag I’m pretty sure in the comments we had people check in.

i just realized how hard it is to get a fine arts badge without cheating using porn.

Porn isn’t counted anyway. Or rather, only safe and suggestive images are counted, excluding memes, screencaps, text posts and such as well.

I probably won’t get this one either, since all the really good artist with a large enough fanbase, have multiply up-loaders anyway. ^^  
The only one I could get is a slowpoke badge for (accidentally) re-uploads, lol.

Anyone can probably go on MSpaint, doodle something shitty maybe on purpose too. They post it, and ask for an artist badge.

I’d rather have a little blue “wildcard: you have to talk to me to figure out whether I’m green, yellow, or red” badge…though honestly, I haven’t quite worked out what colour a wildcard badge should be. Purple? White? Not quite sure yet

There could be a set of rules like the fine arts badge, a certain amount of your arts must reach a certain score.  
That could discourage simply spamming low effort “art” to get a badge.  
I would say 10 images with 25+ score personally as it is rare to see low quality stuff score above that.  
Also not reaching the required score might get people to try and improve.

Something I’ve just realised, and I’m sorry if this has already been mentioned, but:
 
Has a badge for those who have patronised the site been considered?
 
By that I mean, a badge for those who have donated to the site. I mean, if everybody wants a badge, and there’s a badge signifying that someone has donated to support the site, that would be a win-win for everyone, I would think.

You have a point, but it’d be very hard to implement like that. Maybe a rule where they need so many uploads with a base-level score (say a minimum of 20) before they’re eligible might work, but at the same time it could easily discourage up and coming artists as well as make Derpibooru look really dickish if we’re like “Sorry, no, your ‘art’ isn’t good enough for our site. Try again.” Nothing’s more hurtful to an artist of any skill level to be told “Yeah, you’re no artist. Kindly screw off,” and saying that to an amateur who hasn’t gained his legs yet? Ouch.
 
In the same way Derpibooru has to just accept the ducks as an inevitability in order to have a friendly and relatively open community, we’d pretty much have to give the artist badge to anyone who was making content and uploading it and just take the MSPaint Sanic ship-pics with the good stuff.
 
What might work, is have it where the Duck badge cancels out the Artist badge and give the Duck badge to dudes who try to abuse the system like you said.

I also suggested the badge be a Bit(The Equestria currency)
